After being inspired by the combination of real life and illustration in animation's by Blu and Marty Cooper and drawings from @g_g.g and @subwaydoodle on Instagram, I worked on the images below to show background can be utilised to inspire the design and creation of a character.

The idea is linked to how sentient spaces create an interesting dynamic between character and background.
